The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

CETL fosters a dynamic and transformative educational experience by providing resources, opportunities, and strategies that support the teacher-scholar model and enhance student-centered learning in the classroom and beyond. We offer a plethora of support opportunities for instructors. Adjunct faculty are welcome and encouraged to participate in CETL initiatives and programming.

Instructional Design and Accommodations Support

Meet with CETL staff to discuss best practices in course design, pedagogical decisions, and accessibility. Partner with CETL one-on-one or suggest a department or program-specific workshop.

Excellence in Teaching and Learning Summit

In partnership with Faculty Senate and the Teaching and Learning Council (TLC), the Summit provides opportunities for all TCNJ faculty and instructional staff to explore and share pedagogical strategies being implemented by colleagues across the campus community. No day classes are scheduled as faculty and staff gather together on campus to learn from each other.
